Suski T: The best water park in Finland, I would like to update the surfaces a bit anyway. Lots of things to do for children and youth, there should be more jacuzzis and a warm pool for adults. Still versatile! Lovely outdoor area in summer. The cabins include tickets to the water park or, in winter, also to the skiing slopes.Especially the possibility of eating your own snacks is a plus!🙂🙂🙂

Jarno: Palvelu ja sijainti aivan ehdotonta huippua. Aamiainen oli odotusten mukainen ja on mainittavaa, että tarjottu kahvi oli laadukasta. Huone oli hyvä, mutta ei suinkaan täydellinen enää. Ärsytystä aiheutti melko epäkäytännöllisiset/huonot vesihanat. Ei aivan yllä kokonaisuutena siksi viiteen, etenkin huoneen hyvin korkea hinta huomioiden.

Se, mikä todella erottui kuitenkin, olivat cocktailit. Jonathan Quigley: We had a fabulous stay in in Villa Taavetti at the Hawkhill Cottage Resort in July of this year. I couldn't speak more highly of our experience. Super convenient location to the airport, stunning setting right be a beautiful national park with amazing views across the lake. The villa itself was spotless and came equipped with everting our group of 6 people needed. We were even spoilt with amazing weather! Couldn't recommend the resort enough as a place to relax, reconnect with friends, family and the glorious natural beauty of Finland! Huge thank you to our hosts for making the stay so wonderful.

PETROS TSOUKALAS: Imposing and modern hotel close to the harbor and the city of Helsinki. 2 tram lines to the center right outside. Clean room, great pool with sauna and bar on the 16th floor. Unobstructed view. Very good breakfast with a wide variety of savory and quite sweet. Willing and helpful staff.Rooms: The Standard room is clean but a little small.

Stunning views, lovely air-conditioned rooms, a really versatile and luxurious breakfast with special diets also taken into account, a really good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful rooftop pool, and the beds in the rooms couldn't be better. A little more effort could be put into cleaning the rooms. All in all, a memorable holiday at the hotel, which I can warmly recommend! ❤Rooms: Absolutely wonderful, bright and air-conditioned rooms with beautiful views. Good beds and a great view of Helsinki upstairs. Good breakfast and very good service at the hotel. Cheap car hire if you book through the reception at the family company Lacara. Recommended! Enjoy Helsinki, a somewhat forgotten but great city, which should be experienced. Thank you for having us!Rooms: Slightly small standard rooms. And listen a little between the rooms if the neighbor is engaged in bed activities. Luigi: My wife and I have stayed at many boutique hotels throughout the EU, and had the opportunity to stay here this spring while visiting friends in HEL. The location is great; close to the train station, with quite a few places within walking distance as well, but what set this place apart is the staff and ambiance. We cannot say enough about the staff; friendly, inclusive to all, and you could easily tell they liked what they do. Breakfast was varied and fresh, and there's nothing like sitting with a throw in a comfy chair by the bar on a snowy night. Just a wonderful evening for tired travellers.
Christina Le: Excellent place to stay, even during renovations! The rooms are modern and clean. The location is good, only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast was amazing – probably worth staying here for the breakfast alone! It had everything from crepes and croissants to scrambled eggs and sausage to bread, ham, and cheese. I would come back again!

Rob Watkins: Overall a good stay, but a few issues!Not the usual quality one expects from a Hilton.The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a great job.One morning the hot water broke. The staff were not very apologetic about this, but we were given money off on checkout so do ask if things genuinely go wrong - I would never ask usually but don’t think you should have to pay for a cold shower! I’m surprised about the previous review of breakfast! We were really disappointed.All the hot food was lukewarm at best. This was really disappointing as there was a good selection, but cold bacon and eggs isn’t really that tasty!The sauna and pool area were nice! 👌A previous review mentions the pool is cold, it is but I think that’s the point with a super hot sauna!!! 😂

Matti: Our room was great, had everything we needed, except a view. The room had a very small window in the corner making the room in itself a bit dark / gloomy. Bed was great, and the space as well, on top of good bathropes. Shoes they could not find that could fit a 46 / 11 size.The service on the other hand was perfect and everyone was nice and quick.

M: Erittäin suuri leirintäalue aivan Helsingin ulkopuolella. Aivan metroasemalla. Saniteettitiloja on riittävästi ja erittäin puhdasta. Keittoosastoja on useita ja suihkut toimivat täydellisesti. Rastila Camping on täydellinen lähtökohta Helsinki-matkalle.Turvallisuus: Sisäänkäyntien valvonta portilla ja yöllä leirintäalueella on suljettu ulkopuolisilta. Tuntui erittäin turvalliselta.Jalankulku: Rastilan metroasema on vain 200 metrin päässä leirintäalueelta. Kaikkeen pääsee siis helposti julkisilla kulkuvälineillä.

Finnish bread, cheese, Karelian pies, salmon mousse, etc. The view from the restaurant's vast windows was lovely.You reach the hotel by metro and bus. I warmly recommend this hotel if you don't want to stay at the city centre but in the midst of the most beautiful Finnish nature and still in Helsinki.

Ahn Lee Horn: Our daughter first came to Green Window with her college study abroad group for a winter sauna and cold plunge experience. We were lucky enough to get to come back as a family when the lake had thawed and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Pekka took us canoeing, set up the saunas for us and cooked us an amazing salmon dinner. This was the most special experience of our trip to Finland. Thank you, Pekka!Nearby activities: Nuuksio Reindeer Park is nearby. All of the recreation opportunities and activities offered within Nuuksio National Park are very close.Walkability: The property is very walkable for people of all abilities. The main and outbuildings are connected by drivable roads if anyone has mobility issues. There are hiking trails throughout.Food & drinks: Pekka is a wonderful host and an amazing cook. The food incorporates locally foraged mushrooms, herbs, berries, and greens. He will take great care of you and provide everything you need.Noteworthy details: Green Window has a very nostalgic, historic feel. It is rustic, warm, welcoming and so memorable. It's also amazing that you can reach all of these locations by bus.
永妻亜矢子: I visited for the lakeside smoke sauna and mushroom picking. But unexpected snow in the second half of April! The lake is frozen and the forest is covered with snow. We had no choice but to give up mushroom hunting, but Pekka arranged for us to have a special experience of canoeing on the ice instead. There are two types of saunas. First, warm up your body in the electric sauna, and then move on to the smoke sauna. Thanks to the heat radiated from the wood-fired stones as well as the heat radiated from the wood that has been smoked for a long time, it feels very cozy and enveloping. The room temperature rises dramatically when you use it, but it feels completely different from electricity. This feeling becomes addictive. Then, when I was drenched in sweat, I headed off from the pier in front of me to the frozen lake. I also had the valuable experience of not being able to move my legs within a few seconds. The luxury of having the lake and forest right in front of you all to yourself. After the sauna, we were perfectly prepared with Pekka's foraged mushroom soup, homemade cinnamon rolls, and hot coffee. The Iittala vessels are also wonderful. A wonderful place where you can feel the nature and culture of Finland. Next time I would like to stay for several days instead of just a day trip. Thank you Pekka!

Omistaja Pekka oli lämmittänyt saunan polttopuilla pitääkseen sen täydellisessä lämpötilassa. Tein myös varauksen lounaalle, ja paistetut porot ja sienet metsästä olivat erittäin herkullisia. Opimme kaiken suomalaisista saunoista, nautimme saunasta täysillä, uimme järvessä ja jopa söimme Pekan kotitekoisia kanelikääryleitä, joten päivästä tuli unohtumaton! Haluaisin vierailla seuraavan kerran eri vuodenaikoina.
