We definitely would recommend this company and will be using again when we go back. We were given a guided overview of the camper in pickup and felt more like family than just customers. The owner, Henry was so kind and helpful and was available to answer questions when we were on the road. We got picked up from our hotel in Helsinki and taken to the location to pick up the camper. The camper was in perfect condition, clean, and came equipped with all the necessary supplies. We were given a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle and lots of helpful advice. The entire experience from first email to pick up and drop off was stress-free and made us feel very comfortable. We loved exploring Finland and the people were so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for honest service and reasonable prices.

Antti Partanen: As someone who grew up in this neighborhood, coming to Kalastajatorppa was like stepping into a time capsule. This iconic hotel has been one of the top addresses since I was a kid. It has received some upgrades, but in essence the hotel is how I remembered it to be. Oh, they added iglo rooms at the waterfront. Worth checking out for sure. All the staff were very nice. And, watching the sunset from the seaside restaurant is always a nice way to end the day.

Robert Gentile: I have stayed at this hotel 3 times since 2019 and will stay once before I leave for Australia.Positives: I highly recommend the Sauna rooms, these are unique to Lapland hotel and are a lovely touch. This hotel is extremely clean and nicer than some other 5 star hotels in Helsinki. Showers are perfectly clean, with no signs of mould or grout discolouration - which is common even at 5 star hotels. Breakfast is suburb, with unique offerings. The whole hotel has a nice dark and moody feel, which I love, and I think the music they play throughout the hotel works well with this. The location on Bulevadi is wonderful and is my preferred location in Helsinki, close to the design district.Negatives: Restaurant service has been poor on two occasions in that the kitchen was too busy to serve us and we couldn't eat at the hotel for dinner. This is because they were unexpectingly busy - I wasn't too bothered by this as there are plenty of other places to eat around the area, but just an observation.The hotel gym isn't really a gym, but rather an exercise room with some basic equipment. There is a bench press, some kettlebells, some cardio equipment, and some odd machines that I feel weren't picked out by someone who actually trains. Gym's are important to me when travelling, so I would probably need to choose somewhere that has a proper gym if I was staying more than two nights.

You can conveniently get your own bottle of juice cold in the minibar.Sauna and pool facilities are a big plus!You usually don't get to enjoy such entertainment in hotels of this price range.The breakfast was plentiful and open until late, from a vacationer's point of view.The quality of the breakfast is also better than in many more expensive places đđ»Street parking for 4 hours at puck spots and you could buy a parking space in the yard at a reasonable price.Access to the city center by bus and metro, but what's the point, these public ones work here đđ»I think I will come here again!

The hotel can be easily reached by trolley from the center in approx. 9 minutes.Rooms: Our room was clean. Cristina Plata: and walk for about 10 min. Once at the hotel, you can take the train again for one stop to the city center or one of the trams that stops directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, gym and sauna were also very clean. The only 2 things that this hotel is missing are a pool and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again

KingOfQueens 1: I booked for the spa and had a lovely time. I went to the wrong locker room and the staff nicely helped me to locate my things.I had a cocktail which was made by a machine but it was still good not too sweet.I didnât use the sauna since it was +26 outside anyway.I mainly used the jacuzzi.Walkability: Easy to locate with busses.
Ramin Raminy: Great hotel for a reasonable price with breakfast. The rooms are quite nice and modern. The hotel also offers a spa and a gym with a rooftop bar. The location is almost outside of Helsinki, near Pasila. There's public transportation available nearby.The breakfast was tasty but the options were less than I expected which was a bit disappointing.The hotel also has a playroom for little ones. There are toys, boardgames and table tennis with TV to watch cartoons on.

The toilet was also very small, you could barely turn around there. I do understand that they want to build compact-sized, reasonably priced hotels, but now it had gone beyond that limit. Debora Minuzzi: Check in is done alone, an envelope with the card to access the room was left at reception and everything was fine!It has a large kitchen, we stayed in the private room, but with a common bathroom, super clean, there are always people cleaning there, everything is well organized, excellent.
Herbert C: The Yard Hostel is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. The hostel is located in very close proximity to the central train station and the public airport bus. Furthermore, he beds are great and include privacy curtains, hooks to hang stuff up and outlets. The Yard also has a common kitchen and plenty of bathrooms, and showers.However, they donât have anyone on staff to address guests bad behavior after business hours, nor do they have a monitored 24 hour emergency line. The only other con was for some reason the hostel wasnât as social as others I have been to, but donât fault hostel management for this.
