Rastila Camping Helsinki: what do users think?

Yves Schlingloff (Dr.Lando): Best possible big city campingPerfect for Helsinki visits.Playground, grill, TV room, everything is there, clean and everyone is trying hardWalkability: 5 minutes walk to the tram to Helsinki

Kaija Leskinen: A clean and quiet camping area even in the middle of a settlement. There are several saunas available for rent in the area. Sauna no. 4, a small, clean log sauna on an outdoor terrace for up to four peopleLocation: 5/5

Pekka Palolampi: Very nice and freshLocation: 4/5

Daniel H: Typical city campsite, a little outside, but great connection by train. With a small beach and nice cafe. The rest is more pragmatic.Location: 4/5

Mikko Myllyniemi: conveniently happened during our visit. Definitely again.

Nick Weishaar: ErittÀin hyvÀllÀ paikalla metrolla pÀÀsemiseksi kaupunkiin ja Helsingin elÀintarhaan!Paikka melko puhdas, mukava ystÀvÀllinen henkilökunta!Aktiviteetit lÀhistöllÀ: Helsingin kaupunki

M: ErittÀin suuri leirintÀalue aivan Helsingin ulkopuolella. Aivan metroasemalla. Saniteettitiloja on riittÀvÀsti ja erittÀin puhdasta. Keittoosastoja on useita ja suihkut toimivat tÀydellisesti. Rastila Camping on tÀydellinen lÀhtökohta Helsinki-matkalle.Turvallisuus: SisÀÀnkÀyntien valvonta portilla ja yöllÀ leirintÀalueella on suljettu ulkopuolisilta. Tuntui erittÀin turvalliselta.Jalankulku: Rastilan metroasema on vain 200 metrin pÀÀssÀ leirintÀalueelta. Kaikkeen pÀÀsee siis helposti julkisilla kulkuvÀlineillÀ.

Bernd Stoewer: Kaunis leirintĂ€alue, kaikki saatavilla mukaan lukien jĂ€tehuolto ja hyvĂ€t saniteettitilat Hinta heinĂ€kuussa 2024 34 euroa sisĂ€ltĂ€en suihkut, sĂ€hköt. RekisteröintipöydĂ€n etupuolella olevassa lasilaatikossa on myös osoite saksalaisten kaasupullojen vaihtoa varten. MitĂ€ muuta haluat. LeirintĂ€alueen uloskĂ€ynnissĂ€ noin 150 metrin pÀÀssĂ€ on metroasema, josta pÀÀsee suoraan keskustaan vaihtamatta. Ajoimme yliopistoon ja sieltĂ€ lyhyt kĂ€velymatka satamaan.

Lapland Hotels Bulevardi: what do users think?

Robert Gentile: I have stayed at this hotel 3 times since 2019 and will stay once before I leave for Australia.Positives: I highly recommend the Sauna rooms, these are unique to Lapland hotel and are a lovely touch. This hotel is extremely clean and nicer than some other 5 star hotels in Helsinki. Showers are perfectly clean, with no signs of mould or grout discolouration - which is common even at 5 star hotels. Breakfast is suburb, with unique offerings. The whole hotel has a nice dark and moody feel, which I love, and I think the music they play throughout the hotel works well with this. The location on Bulevadi is wonderful and is my preferred location in Helsinki, close to the design district.Negatives: Restaurant service has been poor on two occasions in that the kitchen was too busy to serve us and we couldn't eat at the hotel for dinner. This is because they were unexpectingly busy - I wasn't too bothered by this as there are plenty of other places to eat around the area, but just an observation. The hotel gym isn't really a gym, but rather an exercise room with some basic equipment. There is a bench press, some kettlebells, some cardio equipment, and some odd machines that I feel weren't picked out by someone who actually trains. Gym's are important to me when travelling, so I would probably need to choose somewhere that has a proper gym if I was staying more than two nights.

ceng milan: Location is fineThe rooms are very clean and comfortableStaff helpful

Hilton Helsinki Strand: what do users think?

Rob Watkins: Overall a good stay, but a few issues! Not the usual quality one expects from a Hilton. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a great job.One morning the hot water broke. The staff were not very apologetic about this, but we were given money off on checkout so do ask if things genuinely go wrong - I would never ask usually but don’t think you should have to pay for a cold shower! I’m surprised about the previous review of breakfast! We were really disappointed. All the hot food was lukewarm at best. This was really disappointing as there was a good selection, but cold bacon and eggs isn’t really that tasty! The sauna and pool area were nice! 👌A previous review mentions the pool is cold, it is but I think that’s the point with a super hot sauna!!! 😂

Camille Lecompte: after a problem with warm water one morning when I had to take a very cold shower before going to a professional appointment. But one more time this is minor and does not affect the quality of this Hilton hotel.Rooms: Functional and cosy, clean and inspiring, I could work well therein.

Jersey 12: Right on the water. Walking distance to all the sites. Excellent breakfast. Next to a park with a nice running trail.Walkability: You are within walking distance to everything.

Labeyrie Frédéric: Good hotel overall, not much to complain about. I give 4 stars because of the swimming pool which does not deserve this name. It has the merit of existing but is much too small.Very good location for accessibility to the center.

Scandic Paasi: what do users think?

Sandra P: Everything was 10/10.Service and employees at the hotel 10/10.Breakfast great and something for everyone. The free moktail ticket for children was a nice thing for them. The rooms were clean and the bathtub and private balcony topped it off.Short drive to everywhere, close to shops and eateries.Public transport is 200m away. All in all, a great experience and we will definitely go again!Rooms: Nice spacious rooms. We missed everything we needed except the mini fridge/bar cabinet, that's a SMALL minus.Nearby activities: Shops, public transport and metro right next door. The hotel had a gym.Safety: I felt safe in the hotel.Walkability: Access to the hotel is easy on foot and there are no obstacles, etc. Two elevators.Food & drinks: Breakfast great. You can buy a drink at the hotel and small food and drinks from the kiosk as well. You can get other drinks from the restaurant.

Peter Pesola: Breakfast was okay and they had vegan options as well. Great pancakes. Pretty standard scandic-level breakfast. The bathtub drain emptied out too slow, so that’s a minus

Tuomas Kontiokorpi: A very good accommodation in a really good location. Clean rooms and really friendly service. All my wishes were taken into account and even more.I will come again and recommend others to try it as well👌

Kari rĂ€mö: the only small minus is if you come by car, parking is expensive for that, but that's probably more of a problem with the duration of Helsinki itself usually. Well, the view from the courtyard room is very urban, but we are in the center 😉

Kaapo Flash: The hotel is located in a good location. We got a slightly oddly themed room, but it was still very clean and cozy. Comfortable lounges in the lobby. The customer service was very friendly. A very versatile breakfast. Nearby is a 24-hour McDonald's where you can get something to eat on hungry evenings. The hotel can be easily reached by trolley from the center in approx. 9 minutes.Rooms: Our room was clean. I especially liked the interior of the bathroom.Safety: The hotel was safe.Food & drinks: The breakfast was varied.
