Laura Shumaker: A highlight of my weekend in Helsinki. The gallery and pieces are beautiful, but what really makes it special are the people who run Lokal.They were so kind when I visited, sharing the background of the pieces when I asked and also recommendations for other features of the city. I bought a cup while there, and upon further reflection, wanted to get a second one. However, I couldn't visit in person and it wasn't on their website. Within a day of emailing them, they had sorted out a way for me to buy the second cup I remembered and had shipped it!Incredible style and a friendly, efficient business! Thank you!

HĂ€xans Ărter: Nice store, but incredibly crowded to go in. The store is divided into 2 different ones, so the one I was in didn't have any colors or other products, but this one was more paper.

It's a bit confusing that there are basically two stores - of course they are right next to each other, but the entrance to the other is from the outside. Many also seemed surprised by this when they asked for help in finding the items.

Suvi-Maria Knuutinen: The selection is narrower than in Souka, but the location is good

Cynde Sadler: As for yarn supplies, knitting, weaving, quilting etc., it's the best in town. The cafe leaves much to be desired.
Johanna JÀÀskelÀinen: get all possible thread brands there, but there is a really good selection of threads from Drops, for example, and of course much, much more. It's a good thing that the selection differs from, say, the funky Lankamaailma's offer. They thus complement each other.
