Ramina Guliyeva: It is a beautiful library, very comfortable. It has 3 floors, on the last floor you can directly choose books in several languages - Finnish, Swedish, German, English. There is also a small selection of books in other languages as well. On the first floor there is access to printing, there is also a sewing machine, games machines and so on.
Isaac Martinez: Honestly, the best library that human beings have been able to visit! The definition of professionalism, a wide variety of electronic devices, a console and computer game room, 3D printers, an arcade room, free 5G Wi-Fi, and best of all, FREE admission! The very large library, with popular books from all periods, with silence rooms, study rooms, etc... Your visit is highly recommended. As a result, it includes a games room for the little ones and a chess room to guarantee laughter with the family, and finally a map and a cafeteria next to the entrance.
Nandita R: Helsinki is better with Oodi

yuji seki: The library is said to have been completed in 1840, but it is built like a palace and is quite impressive. It is located on the west side of the cathedral, but the entrance is unassuming. Personally, I think it's a must-see. I checked with the staff and found out that flash photography is prohibited, but you can take pictures.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Nishshanka Moore: Helsinki university Library
It's a very comfortable library. The light from the windows makes the room extremely bright. I feel comfortable sitting and lying in it. I envy the students here for having such a study space! The location is super convenient for China Unicom MRT and there are a lot of people.
Anniina Auvinen: A quiet and comfortable place to study
Sezin H.: Brick facade with square windows and big curves of glass differs the building from its surroundings.Ambince of the interior is also very impressive, especially main openings in the ceiling that welcomes you when you enter the building.Another impressive library in Helsinki in terms of modern architecture and public participation.
It has always been my dream to come back to further my education for the past five years. The library is just a perfect place to lock in all day and get my work done.Top-notch hardware equipment, the atmosphere in the library is also very suitable for studying.
Alessandro Salvalaio (GIFT): I always hope to see places like this in Italy, but I know that unfortunately it won't happen. 😍🤩
Irina Pomortseva: It’s the best library for me
S T: Kaisa-talo on upea paikka, ihana paikka, jossa on paljon koettavaa. Ja se on myös hyvin pidetty kirjasto.
Hyvä juttu.
Janne Tiilikainen: Hyvä valikoima eri vuosikymmenien parhaimpia teoksia.
Natalia Vidal Laura: Paikka on hiljainen. Erinomainen opiskeluun
Tatjana ”TANKA” Titova: Rentoutua.

Juha: This library has saved me more than once. The collection of newspapers is comprehensive and there are aids for charging the phone. The tire pressure of the bike can also be adjusted. The high ceiling and old-time atmosphere calms the mind.
Jari Raitaranta: Excellent service and expertise. There is also music for the elderly who do not use spotify or other "services".
toni alhola: Absolutely top services and amenities and a great location
Tero Leppänen: A beautiful library. The Kallio library is a branch library of the Helsinki City Library, which operates in the Kallio district at Viides linja 11. Its second address is Porthaninkatu 12. In 2021, it was the city library's second largest location in terms of visitor numbers, after Central Library Oodi.
Aline Peña: My favorite library in the city, it has large rooms to study and take time to enjoy it.
Maria Koski: You can see well when you go up the fourth line. Friendly staff in the music department
Nina Veijola: You can usually get to the plane immediately or fairly quickly. Lots of different events.
Matti: You'll find everything you need, want and desire from a library. And when you go in, either with kids or alone, you always feel warm and peaceful.
Mikko Hakalin: Good children's department.

Keri Kekkonen: Rikhardinkatu Library is a historic treasure, completed in 1881. Its Neo-Renaissance architecture and Art Nouveau details are stunning, with a striking atrium and staircase as highlights. There’s wi-fi and computers that can be used. You can reserve rooms online, and the outdoor space is perfect for reading. Live performances and events add to the vibrant atmosphere. The kids' room, filled with books and toys, is fantastic for young readers. A must-visit for history, architecture, and book lovers alike!
Massi Macii: The staircase is truly beautiful
Jyrki R: The Rikhardinkatu library is a library tower on no fewer than six floors. Great historical setting, lots of art, magazines and changing exhibitions. There are also books. In terms of space, walls and staircase, it's a great whole. With a little effort, by changing the furniture, you could turn the current mess into something really stylish. Although the miscellaneous furniture in the entrance hall could be changed a bit in the same way as in the reading room of the Lippulaiva library in Espoo with its reading lights and new-fashioned armchairs. There are plenty of activities and different content. The art loan office on the ground floor is overflowing with art. You can rent the work to your home and see if the work can withstand several viewings or if it challenges an argument with an armchair. However, be careful, most borrowers of the work buy the work as their own!
Sezin H.: Calm and cozy public libray for all, even for dogs. In the entrance it is written that dogs are welcome too.Nice place with comfortable sitting and studying areas. Gallery space with the main stairs is impressive, gives a total respective of the library.Worth to visit, spend time reading or relaxing while wandering Helsinki.
Sara Sandkvist: The most beautiful library I've ever been toLovely atmosphere, good place to study
Kristiina Heikkonen: A calm and cozy environment. Nice staff.
