Jarno: Palvelu ja sijainti aivan ehdotonta huippua. Aamiainen oli odotusten mukainen ja on mainittavaa, että tarjottu kahvi oli laadukasta. Huone oli hyvä, mutta ei suinkaan täydellinen enää. Ärsytystä aiheutti melko epäkäytännöllisiset/huonot vesihanat. Ei aivan yllä kokonaisuutena siksi viiteen, etenkin huoneen hyvin korkea hinta huomioiden.

Tuyet Nhi (Doris): Eilen illalla minulla oli ilo vierailla Kämp Barissa, ja se oli erinomainen kokemus.Tunnelma oli tyylikäs mutta kodikas, täydellinen rentoutumiseen pitkän päivän jälkeen. Se, mikä todella erottui kuitenkin, olivat cocktailit. Lucia Rinaldi (Lucy): Very good food but unhelpful staff: having to be at the port by 7.30 to catch the 9am ferry to Tallinn, we asked for breakfast to be brought forward by a quarter of an hour, which would start at 7am: even though they reassured us that they would open for us at a quarter to 7, they didn't. I therefore feel like not recommending it to anyone who has to take the first ferry to Tallinn!

The view from the window is also normal. There are mugs and a kettle in the room, and a minibar in the refrigerator.Nearby activities: For entertainment, there is a tennis court, SUP rental on the shore, and a cafe near the pier. The hotel itself has a swimming pool and a sauna, since the children ran away there on the first day.Walkability: Either by car or by public transport.Food & drinks: Breakfast is a buffet. Very varied. One of the waitresses speaks Russian.

Antti Partanen: As someone who grew up in this neighborhood, coming to Kalastajatorppa was like stepping into a time capsule. This iconic hotel has been one of the top addresses since I was a kid. It has received some upgrades, but in essence the hotel is how I remembered it to be. Oh, they added iglo rooms at the waterfront. Worth checking out for sure. All the staff were very nice. And, watching the sunset from the seaside restaurant is always a nice way to end the day.

Kiuas saunassa oli liian kesy.Ravintola Meritorpan läheisyydestä iso plussa. Miljöö erillään kaupungista meren ja luonnon helmassa rentouttava.Aamupala runsas, monipuolinen ja maistuva. Robert Gentile: I have stayed at this hotel 3 times since 2019 and will stay once before I leave for Australia.Positives: I highly recommend the Sauna rooms, these are unique to Lapland hotel and are a lovely touch. This hotel is extremely clean and nicer than some other 5 star hotels in Helsinki. Showers are perfectly clean, with no signs of mould or grout discolouration - which is common even at 5 star hotels. Breakfast is suburb, with unique offerings. The whole hotel has a nice dark and moody feel, which I love, and I think the music they play throughout the hotel works well with this. The location on Bulevadi is wonderful and is my preferred location in Helsinki, close to the design district.Negatives: Restaurant service has been poor on two occasions in that the kitchen was too busy to serve us and we couldn't eat at the hotel for dinner. This is because they were unexpectingly busy - I wasn't too bothered by this as there are plenty of other places to eat around the area, but just an observation.The hotel gym isn't really a gym, but rather an exercise room with some basic equipment. There is a bench press, some kettlebells, some cardio equipment, and some odd machines that I feel weren't picked out by someone who actually trains. Gym's are important to me when travelling, so I would probably need to choose somewhere that has a proper gym if I was staying more than two nights.

Christine Fouse: Hyvin lähellä keskustaa. Otin tämän hotellin sattumanvaraisesti. Kun menin ohi, huomasin heti art deco -tyylin, josta pidän todella. Vaistoni ei pettänyt minua. Tervetulotoivotus on erittäin miellyttävä. Sisustus: Hienostunut tyyli mustavalkoisen eleganssilla. Lämpenevän puun huomaamaton läsnäolo. Makuuhuone on upea ja kylpyhuone harmoniassa, aina mustavalkoinen. Sadesuihku ja normaali suihku. Ei puutu mitään, mikä voisi olla hyödyllistä matkustajalle. Ruokailu on hienostunutta ja maukasta. Ei epäröi suositella tätä hotellia.

Not much storage space but it was enough for us.A few bad experiences were related to the cleanliness of the room. The window was unfortunately really dirty and the same thing with bathroom walls

Jan Lukas Lindner: It's quite far from the city centre, but public transport is good. The rooms are quite cramped and the bathroom was often completely wet and not very inviting, although always clean. On the upside the breakfast isn't bad, the staff is nice and the community rooms are good. Also washing is 8€, but works very well. Honestly, it's great value for money, but if you have the money I'd probably spend a few euros more per night to go to a nicer place.
Sofia Valla: Stayed for 4 nights. Hostel run by young guys 40 minutes walk from the centre.The rooms, bathrooms and common kitchen are equipped with everything you need and all extremely clean. What also holds all this up is the extreme respect for clichés and the common coexistence of the people who stay. In my experience, everyone made an effort to let others find what they would have liked to find; Finnish culture certainly helps a lot. I will definitely go back
irem: The hostel was really good ! Staff were so friendly, everywhere was clean. There are walls between the beds so you have a private zone - a little bit-. Location is not bad , i mean if you want to stay really close to central not a best option for you. But 3 km is nothing, while you re walking to the hostel you have also chance to see some important things about the city. Just 2 mins by walking to the bus/tram station. They have also good events for some days. i liked to stay here , thanks for nice experience!

Craig Simons: huippuhotellina. Käyttöaste tuntui tämän seurauksena todella alhaiselta.Sijainti viisas, se on uskomatonta! Vain kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä keskusasemalta. Voit jopa kävellä suurimman osan ylittämällä tien ja kulkemalla Kampin kauppakeskuksen/bussi-/metroaseman läpi. Niin kätevää, en malta odottaa, että pääsen sinne, kun se avataan uudelleen ja pysyn taas Helsingin sydämessä!!

With lounges and workstations.The staff was professional and friendly, it really left a good feeling.The room was clean and the other facilities were also maintained. You can conveniently get your own bottle of juice cold in the minibar.Sauna and pool facilities are a big plus!You usually don't get to enjoy such entertainment in hotels of this price range.The breakfast was plentiful and open until late, from a vacationer's point of view.The quality of the breakfast is also better than in many more expensive places 👌🏻Street parking for 4 hours at puck spots and you could buy a parking space in the yard at a reasonable price.Access to the city center by bus and metro, but what's the point, these public ones work here 👍🏻I think I will come here again!

Martin Hildebrandt: We spent two weeks in the hotel. The service is extremely good, in particular we used and enjoyed the sauna and fitness intensively. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, unfortunately after two weeks it's no longer really varied because it's always the same thing - but that's complaining at a high level.We booked several months in advance and also paid a reasonable price.The location is also very good, you can be in the city center in just a few minutes.We used Uber for the transfer to and from the airport, which cost around €35 with a tipRooms: spacious, the closet could be bigger, was a little tight for two weeks. There is no carpet, but at least you can see that it is cleaned well. Bathroom absolutely okay, the bed was quite hard but that was in our interest.

Harry J: This is my go-to hotel in Helsinki. The massive gym is by far the best hotel facility in Helsinki. Just a 10-15 min walk to the railway station, Kamppi etc., and as a plus the walk is along a beautiful park waterfront. The breakfast selection is excellent, I'd definitely recommend as an add-on. On the other hand the lounge is a bit sad, I would not pay anything extra for that.

Keijo Mallikainen: Huone on päältä päin katsottuna siistin näköinen, mutta joissain kohdissa on pölyä. Sänky on oikein pehmeä ja tyyny todella iso ja muhkea eli sillä on hyvä nukkua. Näköala huoneesta on hieman kehno. Lakanoissa oli myös jotain keltaista.Palvelu respassa oli kiireetöntä, kärsivällistä ja ystävällistä.Sijainti hotelissa on loistava, koska se on aivan keskustassa ja helpon matkan päässä Rautatieasemaa.
