M S (Sunders ont road): I am beginning to sound like a cracked record with high praise indeed. But the food at this restaurant is well worth the price you pay. So we were visiting and wanted to have some local fare. The restaurant we were heading to was full but here they had a table. The place itself is lovely and stylish. The table comfortable. We had a little booth. Only had a starter and the reindeer of the day. But it was delicious. Really full of flavour and perfectly cooked and presented. Service was good and well informed about the menu and the options. It was a little hard to get their attention but not a big problem. But overall was a good experience and the food was absolutely brilliant.

Konsta Anttila: Visited the brunch on a Saturday, and we were all blown away by the quality of the food, how respectful and wonderful the staff were, and the selection was great as well.Two of the members of our party were gluten free and there were great options for them, including incredible pastries.Bacon for once wasn't too salty, warm smoked salmon was as great as you'd expect, and reindeer black sausage was also a milder and pleasant taste to experience.Yes, it's pricey at $34 for the brunch but for worth it for more special occasions or if your company is picking up the tab. Nothing but good things to say about our experience here.

Yannick Vericel: Really another great experience in this essential restaurant. It's not the most affordable restaurant but it remains a must. I love shared dishes with Lappish specialties. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is very attentive to customers. A warm atmosphere that would make us forget that we are in the capital and waitresses in “traditional” outfits. To do again without hesitation. 2020, 2024… and probably see you in 2025.

Ventsislav Antov: I targeted a place with a high rating and traditional food, so my expectations were high and I was still very pleasantly surprised. We had the sirloin, tartar and sole fish and the panna cotta. Everything was really good especially the dessert. The waiters were very professional and the service was of high quality. I would really recommend this to anyone considering trying traditional food at a reasonable price.

Filip Soszyński: My company booked the entire restaurant for a official dinner. The place fits comfortably around 40ish people, and has big windows with a view towards the Finnish Opera house. The interior is tasteful and quite open, very ambient and relaxed and modernly designed. The staff is extremely friendly and goes beyond expectations when welcoming guests and explaining the dishes. We had a 3 course meal consisting of all local farm to table dishes from Finland. Mushroom cream soup - delicious, light and stomach warming. Followed by a stunning Arctic char on a bed of roasted potatoes, the fish was so moist and was melting in the mouth - amazing work by the chefs! And finally Finnish pana cotta.Overall amazing experience - highly recommended!!

Tuula Riihelä: Great place to eat! The service is friendly and smooth. The food is menu Aino, chanterelle soup, sea bream and dessert. Every dish surprised beyond expectations, they were really good and the flavors were just right.

Nicolas: Always a good brunch but the formula has changed and is now too expensive. Previously it was the buffet or small dishes that were the best! Now it’s obligatory buffet at least. So the quality/price ratio is largely unfavorable today.I recommend less despite nice service and products.

Our table for only two people was in a very cramped place, but after the initial inconvenience, the evening went well even in that place.The special diets we mentioned when booking the table were well taken into account and I didn't find that it would have required a lot of application in the portions.The run-through worked perfectly, the five-course menu with greetings only took approx. 2 h 15 min, which I think is a great performance.The wine package we ordered was versatile and complemented each portion perfectly. The portions were beautiful and the world of flavors rich.Special attention must be given to the fact that the food was filling. Already after the third dose, you knew that you really don't need to leave when you're hungry.The waiter who introduced the dishes and wines to us had the right humor and a twinkle in his eye, while for the more official group of foreigners sitting next to him, he gave the introductions in officially brilliant English.
