Pauliina: It's worth going just for the scenery. The stairs are steep up, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility at all. It was hard to get seats even though it was a Monday night. The price level is also quite high. I drank a sloppy blueberry gin that cost €9.Wheelchair accessibility: You can't get all the way up without obstacles. Also the elevator is cramped. If you have knee or other problems, the elevator takes you to the observation deck/gallery space, so you don't have to climb the stairs. In other words, it remains a so-called floor lower than the bar.

DORIS HASEWEND: great hotel right on the harbor with excellent ambience!! The Skybar offers a fantastic view over the city!! The rooms are quiet and functional - the staff is very friendly and helpful!! Another plus is the tram station right in front of the hotel!!Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet is excellent!!
PETROS TSOUKALAS: Imposing and modern hotel close to the harbor and the city of Helsinki. 2 tram lines to the center right outside. Clean room, great pool with sauna and bar on the 16th floor. Unobstructed view. Very good breakfast with a wide variety of savory and quite sweet. Willing and helpful staff.Rooms: The Standard room is clean but a little small.

Stunning views, lovely air-conditioned rooms, a really versatile and luxurious breakfast with special diets also taken into account, a really good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful rooftop pool, and the beds in the rooms couldn't be better. A little more effort could be put into cleaning the rooms. All in all, a memorable holiday at the hotel, which I can warmly recommend! ❤Rooms: Absolutely wonderful, bright and air-conditioned rooms with beautiful views. The beds with big pillows were really good for sleeping.Food & drinks: Breakfast really rich, delicious and versatile!

Andreas Larssen: mean that the hotel's location is nevertheless good. Large, beautiful sky bar on the 16th floor. There is also a sauna, outdoor pool and fitness room on the 16th floor. The pool has a partial glass bottom and hangs outside the edge of the hotel. Cool!Standard rooms are quite small. And listen a little between rooms. Might be worth upgrading to superior. Good beds and a great view of Helsinki upstairs. Good breakfast and very good service at the hotel. Cheap car hire if you book through the reception at the family company Lacara. Recommended! Enjoy Helsinki, a somewhat forgotten but great city, which should be experienced. Thank you for having us!Rooms: Slightly small standard rooms. And listen a little between the rooms if the neighbor is engaged in bed activities. But good beds, minibar, very good pressure in the shower, also high up in the hotel, and otherwise fresh and nice.Nearby activities: Everything Helsinki has to offer; Svea Borg, Högholmen zoo, Borgbacken
Agnete Nørskov Nielsen: Stayed 5 nights in July 2024 and I can really recommend Clarion Hotel in Helsinki.The hotel is quite new, the rooms where clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent.The trams run every few minutes just outside the hotel.Staff was polite and professional.Thank you for a great summer holiday at your hotel!

Muissa kattobaareissa sen sijaan oli yleensä tungosta.Näkymä 7. kerroksessa on erittäin kaunis keskiyön auringon aikaan. Upea auringonlasku Helsingin kattojen yli.Juomia on tarjolla itsepalveluna baarissa normaalihinnoin.Valitettavasti baari sulkeutuu hyvin aikaisin illalla! Viimeiset tilaukset yleensä ennen ilmoitettua aikaa.

James Lindstorff: Good experience, the rooms are really nice with a balcony on the top floor. The only thing to be aware of with those rooms is that there is a sky bar on site and if you are not into other people's music on the balcony then you should not book the rooms that are on top of hotels. They don't play very loudly, but enough that you end up closing the door.Walkability: The hotel is located at the end of the Esplanade over a single road so you can walk to most things in 15 - 20 minutesFood & drinks: There is an Italian restaurant directly on the ground floor plus a bar and lounge at the same time they have a sky bar which is open Tuesday to Saturday
Danny Darbyshire: Central location. Lovely rooms. Nice staff. Best breakfast of any hotel we’ve stayed in in Helsinki. It’s the one we always come back to.Walkability: Everything is nearby and easy to get to.
Simon Green: We had a skysuite for a 3 night stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of staff to refresh plates, and plenty of fresh hot and cold options. As others remarked, rooms are a little tired and rammed with furniture, but perfectly functional and every amenity was available free of charge. Tomas: . The room size was good and the view was straight to sea + kauppatori. The bed was as expected, really comfy. Not much storage space but it was enough for us.A few bad experiences were related to the cleanliness of the room. The window was unfortunately really dirty and the same thing with bathroom walls

Robert Gentile: I have stayed at this hotel 3 times since 2019 and will stay once before I leave for Australia.Positives: I highly recommend the Sauna rooms, these are unique to Lapland hotel and are a lovely touch. This hotel is extremely clean and nicer than some other 5 star hotels in Helsinki. Showers are perfectly clean, with no signs of mould or grout discolouration - which is common even at 5 star hotels. Breakfast is suburb, with unique offerings. The whole hotel has a nice dark and moody feel, which I love, and I think the music they play throughout the hotel works well with this. The location on Bulevadi is wonderful and is my preferred location in Helsinki, close to the design district.Negatives: Restaurant service has been poor on two occasions in that the kitchen was too busy to serve us and we couldn't eat at the hotel for dinner. This is because they were unexpectingly busy - I wasn't too bothered by this as there are plenty of other places to eat around the area, but just an observation.The hotel gym isn't really a gym, but rather an exercise room with some basic equipment. There is a bench press, some kettlebells, some cardio equipment, and some odd machines that I feel weren't picked out by someone who actually trains. Gym's are important to me when travelling, so I would probably need to choose somewhere that has a proper gym if I was staying more than two nights.
