Rob Watkins: Overall a good stay, but a few issues!Not the usual quality one expects from a Hilton.The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a great job.One morning the hot water broke. The staff were not very apologetic about this, but we were given money off on checkout so do ask if things genuinely go wrong - I would never ask usually but don’t think you should have to pay for a cold shower! I’m surprised about the previous review of breakfast! We were really disappointed.All the hot food was lukewarm at best. This was really disappointing as there was a good selection, but cold bacon and eggs isn’t really that tasty!The sauna and pool area were nice! 👌A previous review mentions the pool is cold, it is but I think that’s the point with a super hot sauna!!! 😂

Alan Darra: We had a great time staying in the hotel Indigo. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern style. Staff was really helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early which really made it easy for us just to head out to explore Helsinki.We absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom with roomy shower. We started our day with their breakfast of great variety. They offer a buffet and also ordered warm breakfast from a menu, so you'll be sure to find something you'll like. The breakfast was available until 11 am and late checkout at 12 suited us perfectly.We have absolutely nothing to complain about and hence we're happy to leave an honest 5 star review for the hotel.Looking forward to stay here again!

8: -1 is due to breakfast service which I did not like. I stayed couple of nights. The breakfast remains the same throughout the stay which was really boring. Moreover the service of front desk is very food whereas people in the breakfast is relatively unfriendly and unkind and unfriendly and sometimes there was only one person who always had to let incoming customers await while she was cleaning tables or went to the backyard.The location is perfect and very convenient to go to anywhere. 3 stations from the central by the tram.The service of the front desk is very good and kind.The room is very big with modern furniture and items.I believe the price is quite reasonable in terms of its service and quality besides the breakfast. The breakfast is boring and too expensive with bad service.
Dev N: Great hotel, the lobby is on the smaller side but the rooms are great! Check-in took a longer than expected, but I happened to check in when there were a lot of people. Hotel lobby only had two-counters so they could accommodate for anything faster.The rooms are spacious and the shower is great! Breakfast was amazing. You get a hot dish and access to buffet table - so definitely upgrade for breakfast if you can. Breakfast time is strict and ends on time, which was perfectly fine for us - but did hear complains from other hotel-goers. 🤷🏻♀️Really well located and walkable distance to all of the main destinations. Loved our stay!Rooms: Rooms are spacious and clean. Only small issue, tiny really, is that the only location the bathmat can be placed in the bathroom does cause the bathmat to be soak after two person showers. So we ended up placing it outside of the bathroom - not ideal but fine.Safety: Helsinki feels SO safe. And probably is. No worries at all.Walkability: Close access to everywhere. Easy walk and you can even stop by during the day to drop things off!Food & drinks: Breakfast was fantastic, lots of options! You can even try our traditional rice pie, smoked salmon, and other great dishes. They even had a super-food selection where you can add an extra boost to your smoothies, juices, and yoghurt!

Ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa vieraillut hotellissa ei ole "riisipiirakka"/karjalaista piirakkaa. Kuten muut sanoivat, aamiaisvalikoima on suurempi muissa hotelleissa.
Craig Simons: huippuhotellina. Käyttöaste tuntui tämän seurauksena todella alhaiselta.Sijainti viisas, se on uskomatonta! Vain kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä keskusasemalta. Voit jopa kävellä suurimman osan ylittämällä tien ja kulkemalla Kampin kauppakeskuksen/bussi-/metroaseman läpi. Niin kätevää, en malta odottaa, että pääsen sinne, kun se avataan uudelleen ja pysyn taas Helsingin sydämessä!!

Lucia Rinaldi (Lucy): Very good food but unhelpful staff: having to be at the port by 7.30 to catch the 9am ferry to Tallinn, we asked for breakfast to be brought forward by a quarter of an hour, which would start at 7am: even though they reassured us that they would open for us at a quarter to 7, they didn't. I therefore feel like not recommending it to anyone who has to take the first ferry to Tallinn!

Martin Hildebrandt: We spent two weeks in the hotel. The service is extremely good, in particular we used and enjoyed the sauna and fitness intensively. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, unfortunately after two weeks it's no longer really varied because it's always the same thing - but that's complaining at a high level.We booked several months in advance and also paid a reasonable price.The location is also very good, you can be in the city center in just a few minutes.We used Uber for the transfer to and from the airport, which cost around €35 with a tipRooms: spacious, the closet could be bigger, was a little tight for two weeks. There is no carpet, but at least you can see that it is cleaned well. Bathroom absolutely okay, the bed was quite hard but that was in our interest.

Harry J: This is my go-to hotel in Helsinki. The massive gym is by far the best hotel facility in Helsinki. Just a 10-15 min walk to the railway station, Kamppi etc., and as a plus the walk is along a beautiful park waterfront. The breakfast selection is excellent, I'd definitely recommend as an add-on. On the other hand the lounge is a bit sad, I would not pay anything extra for that.

Jarno: Palvelu ja sijainti aivan ehdotonta huippua. Aamiainen oli odotusten mukainen ja on mainittavaa, että tarjottu kahvi oli laadukasta. Huone oli hyvä, mutta ei suinkaan täydellinen enää. Ärsytystä aiheutti melko epäkäytännöllisiset/huonot vesihanat. Ei aivan yllä kokonaisuutena siksi viiteen, etenkin huoneen hyvin korkea hinta huomioiden.

Se, mikä todella erottui kuitenkin, olivat cocktailit. DORIS HASEWEND: great hotel right on the harbor with excellent ambience!! The Skybar offers a fantastic view over the city!! The rooms are quiet and functional - the staff is very friendly and helpful!! Another plus is the tram station right in front of the hotel!!Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet is excellent!!

Unobstructed view. Very good breakfast with a wide variety of savory and quite sweet. Willing and helpful staff.Rooms: The Standard room is clean but a little small.

The pool has a partial glass bottom and hangs outside the edge of the hotel. Cool!Standard rooms are quite small. And listen a little between rooms. Might be worth upgrading to superior. Good beds and a great view of Helsinki upstairs. Good breakfast and very good service at the hotel. Cheap car hire if you book through the reception at the family company Lacara. Recommended! Enjoy Helsinki, a somewhat forgotten but great city, which should be experienced. Thank you for having us!Rooms: Slightly small standard rooms. And listen a little between the rooms if the neighbor is engaged in bed activities. Matti: Our room was great, had everything we needed, except a view. The room had a very small window in the corner making the room in itself a bit dark / gloomy. Bed was great, and the space as well, on top of good bathropes. Shoes they could not find that could fit a 46 / 11 size.The service on the other hand was perfect and everyone was nice and quick.

The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, gym and sauna were also very clean. The only 2 things that this hotel is missing are a pool and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again

Tony Manfron: Excellent breakfast, except for the coffee which is not the best and if you want espresso it costs 4 euros separately, but here in Finland these are the prices. Small room but fine for two, the bathroom on the other hand is just the right size. Good cleanliness, very comfortable bed and double choice of pillows. LEDs everywhere at night, including lights and displays. Patience.

The only paranoia is that they charge 4.40 euros for a cappuccino because the price only includes crap. Antti Partanen: As someone who grew up in this neighborhood, coming to Kalastajatorppa was like stepping into a time capsule. This iconic hotel has been one of the top addresses since I was a kid. It has received some upgrades, but in essence the hotel is how I remembered it to be. Oh, they added iglo rooms at the waterfront. Worth checking out for sure. All the staff were very nice. And, watching the sunset from the seaside restaurant is always a nice way to end the day.
